Home at Last has many kittens, cats, and dogs, who are currently living in foster homes, ready for adoption. These animals have not spent their whole lives in cages at the animal shelter, but have been fortunate to have been taken in by loving, temporary, foster families. Please don't hesitate to contact us if there is an animal that you see on our website that you would like to meet! You may contact us if you wish to adopt, or if you wish to act as a temporary foster parent to one of our animals. If you would like to have your pet listed under our 3rd Party "Assisted Adoption" section, please fill out our Assisted Pet Adoption form.

	Looking for a Particular Pet?
	If you have looked at all the photos and you just don't find the cat or dog you want, please feel free to fill our our Pet Preference Form. Please note: although we occasionally have pure breed cats & dogs available, the majority of animals we rescue, are mixed breeds. Cats: DSH,DMH, DLH, Siamese (mixes),etc. Dogs: usually mid to large size mixed breeds. Our cats are usually one of these: Domestic Short/Medium/Long Hair, Siamese Mixes, etc. Our dogs are usually mid to larged sized mixed breeds. We rarely see small pure breed dogs such as Maltese, Dachshund or small Terriers. If you insist on a pure breed dog, check the Internet for a rescue group that specializes in the breed of dog you are looking for. Once we receive your inquiry, our crew will try to find your pet. When we have a match (or close to it) we will contact you to see if you are interested. Due to the volume of inquiries we receive, we can only search for 2 weeks. Should you still be interested after that time period, please re-submit your request and mention that this is your second inquiry. We also ask you to contact us, if you have been able to adopt an animal from another source, so that we can take your name off our "searchlist".
