This cheerful little guy is a bundle of good-natured energy. With his
endearing one-ear-up and one-ear-down, it is hard not to be attracted to
this pooch who loves to run and jump and frolic in the outdoors.
Despite his high energy level, his diminutive size makes him easy
to manage for both the experienced and more novice handler.
Rupert is currently living with multiple dogs and really likes them, but
his foster mom thinks he would love to be an only dog, or placed
with a well matched female dog. A walk with Rupert is like a
little adventure, for his curiosity leads you to remote corners
of the park to discover what’s there—sometimes it’s cats, s
ometimes it's gopher holes, sometimes it’s just a well-frequented bush,
He was very good with cats when he was tested. Rupert will make an
excellent companion to an active person who wants a smaller pit mix, with
an amiable and up-for-anything personality. He would be best placed in an
active adult home or home with older children. Rupert could likely be placed in
a home with cats too.
