Poe

Poe is a sweet boy who loves his human companions, and seems especially appreciative of the one-on-one time he is able to get with a volunteer, on occasion. Poe walks out of the shelter with a spring in his step, and an impish grin on his face as he looks over his shoulder at his walking buddy. Enjoying the fresh air and sunshine, Poe seems to be smiling from ear-to-ear, the way only a pit bull can do. He pauses to sniff and make his mark, but responds well to directives to come along. When you stop for a rest, he will find a way to give you a lick on the face, as though to say, "thank you." You are very welcome, Poe; the pleasure of seeing you so very happy, if just for a little while was all mine.
