Morgan is a dog who deserves a chance at a better life. Her owner is in a wheel-chair
so she stays mostly in a 6 x 6 kennel outside in the backyard, 24 / 7, rain or shine,
and he is thinking about surrendering her to a shelter. We have stepped in and would like to see
her get adopted into a home that can provide her with a better quality of life!
Morgan is a very polite, low-maintenance, docile, the "quiet, outdoorsy type", who loves to run and exercise,
doesn't like to be penned in too much, however she also does quite well in the house
even though she's been kept outside most of her life! Morgan would be an excellent family dog,
raised with small children, good with small dogs and cats.
She's affectionate but independent, loves to play fetch (though she might not always give the ball back!),
knows sit and lay-down! Loves to go for walks (though unfortunately she doesn't get out much).
Her neighbors come over and help as much as they can!
All we think Morgan needs is basic leash training,
some re-housebreaking and socialization around other dogs and she will turn out beautifully!
Please consider giving this girl a break from the backyard life. There's a world out there to explore!
