"Kyle" is an approximatelyy 3-yr old male Belgian Malinois/Boxer who is playful, calm and confident. He is
very affectionate and bonds strongly to whoever shows him kindness. Kyle loves to play with balls--even by himself!
He is very smart and a good protector. Kyle gets along well with most dogs, but he is
a dominant male who will not back away from a challenge. He will not be good with cats. He is mildly aggressive
around his food, so a home without young children is in order. Kyle would probably do best as an only dog.
Kyle is still learning basic commands, but has excellent off-leash recall. He is very tuned-in to
his caregiver, so will probably learn quickly. On leash, he does very well. Kyle is very strong,
and his 75 lbs is almost all muscle.
Kyle was brought to the Berkeley shelter as a stray in October 2007. He was emaciated and showed signs of serious neglect.
A volunteer at the shelter saw the good-nature in Kyle, and
befriended him, ultimately rescuing him from the shelter and bringing him to German Shepherd Rescue of Sacramento Valley (GSRV) .
GSRSV is now boarding
and socializing Kyle with the other dogs while seeking a new home for him. Kyle is
now posted on GSRSV web page.
Please consider giving this beautiful boy the life he deserves after a troubled past.
