"Kyle" is a 5-yr old male Belgian Malinois mix who has calm nature, is playful and confident.
Kyle is very smart and a good protector. He is a dominant male who gets along well with most dogs.
Kyle is very strong, and his 70 lbs is almost all muscle. He has high prey drive and will not be good with cats, rabbits.
He has an excellent off-leash recall. He is very tuned-in to his caregiver, and learns quickly. He does very well on leash.
Kyle spends a lot of time playing soccer by himself or with another person.
He was brought to the Berkeley shelter as a stray in 10/07.
A volunteer at the shelter saw the good-nature in him and rescued him from the shelter and brought him to German Shepherd Rescue of
Sacramento Valley (GSRSV) were he spent 9 month. Since 11/08 Kyle has been living with his rescuer in the city of Richmond, CA.
His rescuer is a foreigner who might have to leave the country for the Middle east for an extended period of time to care
for her elderly mother, regretfully she can not take Kyle along.
We are looking for the ideal permanent/foster home for our beloved Kyle, in the country side, a
place were he can be out doors off leash on a private property. Kyle loves people and would benefit from living
in a home were some one is around most of the time for example retired person, someone who works from home.
Kyle is very gentle with children, and greets them with sweet calm disposition..
Kyle is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
An adoption questionaire can be found on GSRSV web site. We will make house visits and
will thoroughly evaluate the situation on Kyle's behalf. Thank you for reading our ad and for considering this deserving pooch.
