We are currently looking for a loving home for our dog Hailey as our two dogs are
currently not getting along with each other.
Hailey has been raised as a indoor pet. She loves to play and hang out outside when its nice out but would
prefer to be with the family when we are home. She's not big on the rain or swimming,
she prefers her baths to be in our shower with us. She is not a barker or a chewer and never has had any potty issues.
She doesn't shed 1/2 as much as a typical lab, short hair. She has been raised with our 3
kids, ages 11,8,4. She sleeps with a kid at night and LOVES to play fetch with tennis balls, our 4 year old can play fetch with her!!
She is a fabulous retriever and eager to please. Very smart!!
Easily trainable, a great running partner (she prefers your right side),
she will often do 5 miles with me. She doesn't dig in the yard and can often be found sun
bathing in our lounge chairs, or bird watching.
It breaks our hearts to have to find a home for her.
She would do great with kids, probally not cats or small dogs as she is a hunter and has hunter instincts
to chase small animals. She should have a fenced yard, so she can wander about safely with out worrying
about her chasing after something. We have kept her active and have a big yard for her play in,
we would love a active person/family with a yard for her. She is also crate trained and has no
problem riding in cars or going on road trips with our family. (we have done a few with her and she
travels great!) She is up to date on all shots, flea/tick prevention and heart worm.
I can get copies of all her records and I think that we micro chipped her, I have to double check on that.
Very healthy dog. She is super smart too, the smartest dog we have ever owned. We are located in the Sacramento area.
