Eddie was found wandering the streets of East Palo Alto, having been abandoned by his family.
He was near death, due to a bad case of pneumonia, but a lot of veterinary care brought him
back to full health and he is now a very energetic and healthy guy! Eddie is a very
sweet and loving dog. He gets along great with my other dogs (Beagle and Chihuahua)
and has never shown any aggression towards humans or other animals (including my cats).
Due to his highly energetic nature Eddie would not be good in a house with small
children as he would likely knock them down with his rough play. Eddie needs a lot of
room to run around and/or someone who can work him hard (a jogging buddy would be great).
I've taught him to sit, and (sometimes) stay, but he needs a lot more training, especially
since he is prone to jumping. While Eddie loves to play with the other dogs, he prefers
human company. A mix of both types of playmates (human and canine) would probably be best for Eddie.
Eddie is current on all his shots.
