Duffy is one of those dogs who you need lots of energy for (to keep up with him) and lots
of patience for (to rein in some of that unbridled energy). He is so excited at the
prospect of spending time with you, that you'd swear he has springs in his paws the way
he jumps straight up an down when you enter the kennel to leash him up. Needless to say,
Duffy hasn't had much boundary-setting, and as he revels in his adolescence, it would be
helpful for him to have some training guidance so that he can learn to behave like
the good pittie we know he is. One look at you with those sad-seeming eyes
(although, they are merely the result of a medical condition from which he is recovering),
and you're hooked! It is so rewarding to take Duffy out to work with him for a
half-hour, and to actually begin to see a difference in his behavior by the end of the session.
This boy is smart! Come meet this you-can't-stay-in-a-blue-mood-around-me-for-long sweetheart for yourself.
Note: Duffy is a great dog who needs out of the shelter soon. He likes to have something to do all the time,
be it physical stimulation or mental and sitting in a shelter cell for hours on end is wearing on him. This dog deserves a
a home and we're hoping someone can step up soon and give him a chance at a real life outside a kennel.
