Little Billy is as cute as they come, and with that endearing tilt of the head when you talk to him or when his
attention is caught by something curious, he's just over-the-top adorable! However, Billy can be quite a handful, for
he appears to have had no training or boundary-setting (and has a bit of that innate cattle-dog nippiness, which we are happily
beginning to curb). In order to give Billy a better chance at finding his forever home, we have implemented a consistent
training program to help him learn good canine manners. The progress Billy has made from his daily training jaunts with
volunteers and staff is becoming more apparent with each day. Smart boy!
As we continue to work with Billy we're hoping an adopter will come along who will recognize Billy's potential to be a
fantastic companion. This person should have some previous dog handling skills and be willing to continuing Billy's
training regimen. Billy gets along quite well with other dogs; however, we recommend a home where he is the only dog
so that he can get all the love and attention he needs. As they say, "it takes a village to save a dog" and this is
certainly what we hope to be able to do with Billy.
