My name is Bambi and I am a 2-year-old chihuahua mix (about 10lbs) who is housebroken. Although I may take some time to warm up to
you, once I know I can trust you, I am as affectionate as can be! I am still a bit unsure of myself in new situations, so I would
thrive in a forever home that would help me build up my confidence and believe in me.
As long as we are slowly and properly introduced, I can be a good roommate with other calm dogs and cats. In fact,
I really love taking walks around Pt. Isabel with my doggie and human pals. I would prefer a calm household, so busy
homes and young children are probably not my cup of tea. Since I really love being around my humans, I would also prefer
not to be left alone for long periods of time. I'm quite quiet around the house -- you'll know I'm there when I cuddle by your side or sit in your lap.
I'm learning my basic commands (sit, leave it, come) and my friends are helping me with crate training. I am
very food-motivated (but not food aggressive at all), so I think learning more commands will be a piece of cake. I
