| Persephone and
Pandora are
sisters, just a year old,
that have tested positive
for the FIV antibody. They
are asymptomatic and
healthy, but because of
their antibody status, must
be kept indoors to protect
their health.
Persephone
is a sweet, sweet cat. She
is gentle, likes tummy
rubs, being petted, and
will sit on laps for short
periods. She is very
playful, but timid.
Because of her timidity,
Persephone will do best in
a calm home. She loves
being with her sister
Pandora.
Pandora is
a pretty black and white
girl with beautiful
markings. She is shy but
loves petting and chin
scratches while on a warm
lap. She loves to snuggle
with her sister
Persephone. Pandora is
gentle and enjoys being
held and carried. She does
spook easily to loud
sounds, sudden movement,
and a lot of commotion, so
will also do best in a
calm home. She will most
likely be more comfortable
with someone who will give
her time to adjust to her
new home.
Persephone and
Pandora are
microchipped, vaccinated,
and tested negative for
Feline Leukemia.
As they are so young and
shy, they should be with
another friendly cat for
companion and playmate.
They would do well in a
home together or with
another FIV positive cat.
Many cats who have tested
FIV positive live long,
healthy, and enjoyable
lives.
Persephone
and Pandora urgently
need a foster home
while they await
adoption.
