born July 23, 2011
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic
Shorthair, possibly
Russian Blue/Tabby mix
Greige was
found on the street
in Berkeley at about
seven weeks old. He
is timid with people
but does really well
with other kittens.
They love to climb,
wrestle together and
chase each other.
However, he adores
the adult cats; he
tells them often of
his awe and
admiration. Greige
would do best with
in a calm home with
a playful cat or
multiple cats, no
small children or
dogs, and people who
will allow him to
warm to them at his
own pace. He would
be great company for
another cat or
kitten whose people
work out of the
house but will
likely attach
himself to one
special person in a
household, as he has
a typical Russian
Blue
personality.
Greige should be an
indoor cat in a home
with interesting
window views; a
balcony with no
escape would be a
big bonus.
Note from
Greige's foster
mom May 8:
Greige is still
skittish, but
clearly adores me.
He snuggles during
the night and early
morning, comes when
called, and fetches
pipe cleaners
endlessly. He likes
to be stroked on his
back and side, is
chatty, and has an
unusual very cute
meow.
Greige is
vaccinated, tested
negative for FIV
and FeLV, neutered
and microchipped.
