I have recently become the owner of a wonderful 13 yr old cat.
He has been a family pet and lived in the same house for his entire life.
But, unfortunately, divorce split his family apart and he had no where to go.
I picked him up from animal care and control late yesterday afternoon after
a co-worker had surrendered him. We found him hiding under a large piece of newspaper in his small cage.
Clovis loves to be rubbed and he shows his appreciation with a loud purr.
From the second he arrived at my house he was happy, friendly, curious and just wonderful.
A very different cat than that one I picked up only hours earlier. We have 2 other cats and he
was calm and gentle when they first met. At his previous home he lived with a dog
and they were fast friends, too. Unfortunately, our 2 cats do not want to share our
small apt with any more cats and they are making his life pretty miserable.
Clovis has all of his shots and has a clean bill of health, plus a hearty appetite.
He has been an indoor/outdoor cat his whole life but in his old age prefers the comforts of
indoor living. He still has a full set of claws. He is mellow and extremely sweet.
His favorite activity is to curl up in your lap while you read or watch TV.
Please help us try to find him the wonderful home he deserves.
